Ros Elliott-Ozlek: Bowen Instructor

Ros has been working with Bowen since 2002 when she started training in London, qualifying in 2011 as an Instructor with Australia’s Bowen Academy (BTAA) and the Bowen Association UK (BAuk). She currently works in Izmir but will happily organise courses, introductory talks and therapy in other cities – such as Istanbul, Ankara, Antalya and Bodrum. Please see contact details.

Ros originally trained as a teacher in dance and music, gaining diplomas from The London College of Dance and Drama, The Royal College of Music and then a university degree. She went on to follow full-time training in Benesh choreology, which brought her to Turkey to found the Choreology Department for Hacettepe University’s State Conservatoire. She has been teaching Yoga for the past 20 years, and is a graduate of The British School of Yoga.

“My training as a teacher in Dance, Music and Choreology ran alongside a deep interest in health and healing of injuries, so I helped out at osteopathy/acupuncture/health clinics during my student days. I have also studied other forms of healing such as Reiki, Distant Healing, Homeopathy, Herbalism and Massage. I trained in the Bowen Technique after becoming a Yoga Therapy teacher. I find Bowen invaluable in treating patients from all walks of life.”
